About the Neighborhood

Grand View Shores

Grand View Shores is located south of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, on the western shores of Lake Petenwell.

The neighborhood is made up of 84 individual lots of 2 acres or larger, many with lake views, and all with access to deeded piers on the lake. Lots 1 thru 16 are just east of 24th Ave. and north of 4th Street, while the remaining lots of 17-84 are east of 23rd Ave. and south of 4th Street.

The land originally owned by the Wisconsin River Power Company (WRPCO) was developed and sold by Naterra Land. Today, the neighborhood, trails, and docks are maintained by the Grand View Shores Waterfront Community Association under a license agreement with WRPCO and controlled by the bylaws and covenants of the association.

The best part of living on Lake Petenwell is the peaceful serenity, but for your shopping needs Grandview Shores is conveniently located just 10 miles from Nekoosa, a friendly, small town with the Piggly Wiggley grocery and some local restaurants. Just past Nekoosa is Wisconsin Rapids, for your larger shopping needs. Just 20 minutes beyond that is Stevens Point.
